    Executive Session

    The Region 8 LBRFPG may go into an executive session pursuant to chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code for the consideration of personnel matters, specifically, potential removal of a voting member due to excessive absenteeism. Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code allows for an exception to meeting in Closed Session. (a) This chapter does not require a governmental body to conduct an open meeting:(1) to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or (2) to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee.
